The rest of the party

Griffin was digging the glow in the dark mini golf- great idea- we'll have to work on his stance (I'll try to remember Howard's tips). As Griffin said "next time let's bring the sisters!" Good idea Griffin.

Super saturated saturday continues

In between our two soccer games we picked up our UVM/NYC friend Elissa (Eliska) & had her join in all of our fun! After Josie's exciting game- we got Jo, Syd & elissa settled with movies, popcorn & Sydney's homemade peanut butter cups, and Griffin & I headed to the other side of Orlando for a birthday party. whoever said boys are easier must not have been talking about 4 year olds...or perhaps boys who took a quick nap on the ride out & reclaimed their energy! The wrestling, judo, hip hop dancing that took place while waiting for their turns to bowl was impressive! Not to mention the glow in the dark miniature golf ...we opted to skip (shhh don't tell Griffin) the arcade games so that we could get the sisters off to their sleepovers. Exhausted- yes...oh & think Griffin was as well!!!

Josie scores two!!!

Sometimes you just know...Josie said to me Friday "Mom, this week i am going to score a goal, I can just feel it" And that she did- twice. Even though her team did not have enough players & had to "borrow" from the other team- they won 3-2 & Jo had two great goals. The only bummer was that Lee wasn't there to see them. Although we think she plays hard every weekend, she was definitely "in the zone". Highlight for me was hearing how excited Sydney was to see her sister score!

Super saturated Saturday

Our Saturday started out early at the soccer fields...a busy Saturday was ahead with 2 soccer games, a friend visiting from NYC, a birthday party & 2 sleepovers. Lee being in Vegas meant I had to divide & conquer & be thankful that Josie & Sydney can stay home alone. Not to mention we overdid it on Friday. Lee was missed at Griffin's soccer game & I think Griffin was a bit hungover from all of the events of the day before...not too in to the game- he seemed to have more fun playing in the goal with her buddies.

Move over soccer shorts

I really never thought I'd see the day where Josie was interested in clothing, hair etc.
But the tide is turning! Soccer shorts are still the number one choice, but she is starting to put together some funky outfits that totally suit her personality. Sydney is not too pleased about having to share the shopping spotlight with her- she'll have to get over it!

Oktoberfest

Another fun get together-we all cooked German fare. What almost turned out to be a sausage fest, ended up to be a variety of yummy dishes- it's great to have a group of friends who love & can really cook. The kids were easy & had fun playing in the sand, scooters & football!

Lasers on Fire

We love Josie's team. Not only are they great soccer players & fun to watch, but they have such a great attitude- very positive & supportive. They won 4-0 & it really was a great game to watch. A job well done by all.
