Birthday Campout

We love combining a mini- vaca with a birthday celebration. We headed back to Fort Wilderness to continue the celebration and besides a few too many mosquito bites...we had a fantastic time. Less swimming, more tetherball and a yummy BBQ! 10 is great! Happiest of Birthdays to you, Josie!

Progress

Griffin is somewhat in the game...definitely following up...engaging...real progress! Griffin, you may not be taking after your big sister but we can see that you are getting the hang of it!

Josie scores Two goals!

...and that's all I have to say about that! Great job Josie- keep up the hard work, the hustle and positive attitude. We realize 9 a.m. on a Saturday is starting to be a a bit early for our sleepyhead- but way to rise up!

Dinner at Kobe

We've moved on from Chef Mickey's. The request this year was Kobe's Japanese steakhouse. Oh my...that is alot of food. Really! Josie loved it and it's always great when I don't have to clean up. one word: Leftovers!

Good morning 10 year old

Happy 1st decade to Josie Miller Lowell. If there is anyone who loves a celebration, it is our JoJo! And she was ready to take on 10. As started with her big sister...we had 10 presents for the birthday girl. Our traditional dance and a few phone calls got her off to school. Lee & I met her for lunch and brought in all the yummy cupcakes for her classmates. And who doesn't love when their b'day falls on a Friday!

Getting Ready for the Big 1-0!

Birthday month continues at our house...a preview of Josie's tenth b'day. Let the celebrations begin! Ten years- amazing...I truly remember it like yesterday...ouch (worst pain ever) followed by the complete joy.

A visit from The Schlagater's

We had a very fun visit with my great friend Kathy & her family. Griffin ditched school and we went to Blizzard Beach for the day. It was so fun and our kids played so well together- which allowed Kath & I the much needed opportunity to hang out like we did back on Davis 4th circa 1986!

Griffin's Toy Store

If there is one thing consistent about our kids...they always think they can sell their toys/artwork for profit! Griffin was calling out to any potnetial buyers. Love his persistence.

Josie's game

Josie was tired & you could tell she had a 2 week break...she wasn't running with her full gusto. However, she still played a good game, especially on defense...her team won, but she was disappointed that she did not score (and her scoring streak has come to an end). There's always next week Josie.

Soccer is back

After a two week hiatus from soccer, we were back on. Griffin is sloooowly participating more & I actually saw him kick the ball, follow up & kick again! Woot! I love how he is "too tired" to run in the game, but has all the energy in the world to play "tag" while on the sidelines.

A few random pics

Some random shots to round out our cruise...we had fu-un!!!

Fun at the beach

Chillin' in the sand, innertubes, smoothies, sand castles...some of the fun ways we spent our "down" time at the beach...(also under the umbrella sheltered from the rain)...so many things to do, so little time.
