Science Fair Winners!

Sydney & Da yan zi won their division (middle school chemistry) out of 33 entries. Then they were chosen to go to the state competiton (4 out of 207 teams). Way to go girls. You ake us so proud.

Naples Half Marathon

Back to back 1/2 marathons...very different races, very different runners. I ran this one solo - very beautiful course through estate homes & waterfront in Naples. My family was there to cheer me on at the finish- which was so great - it's been awhile since that's happened. I love, love the signs Josie & Griffin made me. Because I am over 40 I had a difficult time reading them as I ran by...Griffin interpreted his unique sign as "Go mommy go...run as fast as if a cheetah was chasing you!" Exactly right!

Disney Half Marathon

Deciding to run a half marathon the day before really takes the pressure off. Being placed at the back means you will be playing one big game of "frogger". I must have said "excuse me" 100 times over the 13.1 miles. The upside to all of this, is that I enjoyed the view & I am not sore...so I'll be able to run next week Naples Half marathon. So glad I ran it, despite the 4 a.m wake-up call.

Not so magical

Poor Griffin...after waiting in line for 75 minutes for Space Mountain - btw that is really long for a 5 year old-it broke down right before we were about to get on the ride. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait because we were cutting it close to getting the girls from school. Bummer, he had to settle for an ice cream cone. As he said"BOO". Not so magical Mickey!

Party at The Zollinger's

New Year's Day means one thing...hanging at The Zollinger's for friends, food, football...and did I say food! What an enjoyable day. The kids played outside the entire day & it was great to relax. 2011 is off to a great start.

Griffin got to try out the Go Kart at The Zollinger's party. Super cute. Love the posse around him!
