Faux skating

Next was to try ice skating on faux rink. Josie has always been a good at skating but Griffin has never tried it. Thankfully Josie was there to lend a helping hand...all was well until Josie accidentally skate over his finger...never a dull moment!

Snoap

Josie & Griffin had so much fun playing in the Celebration snow or "snoap" as it is commonly called. It looks fairly real...but Josie wearing shorts kind of gives it away (and it doesn't really pack well).

Getting ready

Here is how I spent my afternoon...I thought I had until Thursday night, but clearly all3 of my kids knew when the 1st night of Hanukkah was (Weds.). For the record, I hate wrapping presents...so glad that is done (for the most part). Bring it!

Hotel holiday lights

Sydney had an idea to take the monorail to view all the holiday decorations at the Disney Hotels (or was it a plot to shop?). The holidays have begun...were listened to a great saxophone band, ate dinner, looked at all the beautiful decorations. Fun, spontaneous & easy.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful & delicious Thanksgiving. Low stress, the food was so good & even the clean up was no big deal. Way too many leftovers, which is really not a bad thing.

Shhhhh...don't tell dad.

When Lee drove his parents to the airport- Griffin & I made him a special breakfast...A waffle topped off with whipped cream, chocolate chips & chocolate syrup. Not too healthy, but festive and yummy. He said it was very tasty.

Josie's Honor Roll

Way to go Josie, who also received The Principal's Award for straight A's (and recognition for perfect attendance). She does a great job keeping up with all her extracurricular activities & her schoolwork. We are proud!

Griffin's Grownup Day

Griffin showed me some pretty impressive work during Grown Up day. Clearly he favors math (no surprise there) and he knows his geography. I was exhausted after completing 5 lessons in a little over an hour. We were so busy, we didn't even have time for snack.

Sydney's honor roll

Sydney received The Principal's Award for straight A's the 1st quarter. She also was recognized for her participation in The Mathlete's. So way to go Sydney!

Last TBall game

The last game for The Muckdogs. Definitely we can say Griffin improved alot- he has a great swing for a 5 year old & we think he actually had fun. So did Lee. We know it was a success b/c he says he even wants to play again!!!

Thanksgiving Feast

This was the 1st year I was able to help out at the MSC feast...and b/c Griffin is a kindergartener he got to help set up & clean up with me. He is so helpful at school....hmmmm. The kids were absolutely adorable. I love the photos of Griffin scrunching his face when the teacher told him to think of all he has to be thankful this time of year!

Epcot Afternoon

A lovely afternoon at Epcot....beautiful, breezy. We let the girls roam around on their own, while we enjoyed a post race beer, wine or cosmo depending on your taste. Epcot the way I like it!

Team Lowell

Another Founder's day Race...Lee, Sydney & I had our fastest races to date. Fun (except mile 5-6) & I was even awarded Celebration's fastest woman runner for the 10K- I guess all the fast women were our running other races!!!! I am proud of us...although Griffin declared he is "NEVER" running again in his whole entire life!

Griffin@ LAX

Sometimes its hard to be the little brother & have to watch all these games...fortunately the Lax field is located at a park with the nicest playground around. Griffin chose to bypass the playground to look for wood to start a fire with his friend Dylan! It kept him occupied the entire 3.5 hours we were there! Thank you Dylan!

Trophy Awards

The Fall season trophies were handed out...Sydney received the "Shooting Accuracy" Award, while Josie received "Most Versatile Player" award. Coach Greg said some great things about each girl & they are all looking forward to coming back for the spring season!
